Huawei Bags Polish UMTS/HSPA Contract from France Telecom's Orange

According to Chinese-language Sina News, China-based Huawei recently announced that it has won a UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System)/HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access) contract from Polish mobile operator PTK Centertel, an affiliate under France Telecom's Orange brand in Poland. Pursuant to the contract, Huawei will deploy 50% of PTK Centertel's UMTS/HSPA distributed base stations in major cities of Poland over the next three years.
